RHS girls swim team wins on Senior Night
The Prodigal Ridgefield girls swimming team has opened a big lead in transmitting a 97-80 victory on Monday at Fairfield Ludlow Mountain Barlow consolidate.
The victory, which came on Senior Night, gave the Tigers a 4-5 album enter the post-season meets.
Ridgefield won seven of nine events, the overall top three places in three of those races. With an insurmountable lead, the Tigers were trained to swim exposure (no points) in the last three events.Finishing first happened individualistic Ridgefield Courtney Kenyon were in the fray individualist 200 (2:26.34), Sidney Pahmer the 50 freestyle (27.24), Taylor Meegan championship in diving (166.45 points), Laura Reeves in the freestyle 100 (1:01.85), Irwin and Maddy in the 400 freestyle (5: 06.93).
Pahmer, Irwin, Taylor Byerly and Elizabeth Hilliard won the 200 relay Varia (2:00.69), and Hilliard, Elizabeth Abercrombie, Katie Feeser and Byerly were first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:49.35).
